On February 23, 2024, a training on “Environmentally friendly business practices: Obstacles and examples” was organized by the Career and Development Center of Mingachevir State University (MSU). A group of university employees, students and graduate students participated in the training, which was presented by Evren Güçer, a guest professor working at MSU of Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Turkiye.

  Making a presentation at the training organized within the framework of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”, the professor emphasized the strategies implemented by enterprises that pay attention to such issues as environmentally friendly business practices, sustainability in the business world, environmental protection and social responsibility. Stating that enterprises should not only pay attention to profit, but also take into account environmental and social impacts, E. Guçer informed about some ecologically clean and socially responsible business practices and finally gave detailed answers to the questions addressed to him. He advised all employees to be united in protecting the green world by always following the slogan “reduce, reuse and recycle”.

It should be noted that the declaration of 2024 in Azerbaijan as the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World” is a global challenge not only for our country, but for the whole world. The goal is to reduce the risks that may come to the environment from economic and demographic growth in the future, and to create a healthy life concept. Therefore, it is very important to look at the environment in the business world, to increase and develop attention to social and environmental issues.
