A tree planting action was held within the framework of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World” organized by the Department of Economics of Mingachevir State University (MSU) on March 5, 2024.

The tree-planting action took place during the lecture of the subject “Ecological tourism” with the participation of students studying “organization of tourism business ” at the  Faculty of Economics and Management of MSU.

Students planted evergreen trees in the yard of the main educational building of MSU and took care of them.

A subject teacher Aysel Qojayeva spoke about the importance of solving environmental problems and preserving the environment that are growing in the world, including in Azerbaijan, and emphasized that it is necesary to develop environmental awareness in young people, to form a sensitive attitude towards the environment, to carry out awareness-raising work on respecting natural, cultural, historical and social aesthetic values. It should be noted that within the framework of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”, various  events are held at MSU.
