Mingachevir State University (MSU) Sustainable Development and Regional Innovations Research Center (DIRITM) and Mingachevir City Education Department organized an educational meeting for the students of  Secondary School No. 13 of Mingachevir City named after N.Ahangari within the framework of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”.

The meeting was held in Geolab and Chemistry laboratories of MSU.

Head of the Department of Physics and ecology of MSU Tarana Yusibova,  who opened the meeting with the students, gave information about the university, its material and technical base and talked about the essence of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”. Then the head of the Department, familiarizing the students with geolab and chemistry audiences, informed the students about the exceptional services played by the laboratories in the direction of training personnel in accordance with the requirements of the labor market in the relevant areas of MSU. 

Then, students carried out various tests and experiments in laboratories accompanied by teachers of MSU Aytaj Javadova and Lala Rasulova. In the laboratory of Geolab, experimental processes were carried out on various water samples, temperature, salinity and conductivity values of distilled water, Kura tea and sodium nitrate solution were checked using the “Pasco Salanity Sensor” device. In the chemical laboratory, oxygen, carbon dioxide concentrations and parameters of dissolved oxygen in water were checked by the interaction of 3 environments established by the “ECOZone” device.

The meeting was met with interest by the students, questions were answered.

It should be noted that within the framework of the “Year of Solidarity for the Green World”, various format events are held in Mingachevir.
