The “green campus” concept of Mingachevir State University (MSU) includes increasing the level of renewable energy supply, waste management, water and biodiversity protection, reducing carbon emissions by favoring the active use of bicycles and walking, developing environmental awareness and other sustainability components, as well as it serves to provide solutions to regional environmental problems and reduce the effects of climate change.
The declaration of 2024 as the “year of solidarity for a green world” in our country poses urgent challenges for higher education institutions.
