An infotour was organized to “Tamiz Shahar” OJSC located in Baku in connection with the announcement of the “Year of Solidarity for the Green world”in our country and the holding of such a prestigious event as COP29, 2024, on May 14, with the participation of a group of academic staff members and students of Mingachevir State University (MSU),.

Tour participants were given detailed information about the impact of waste on the environment and the possibilities of recycling. Guests at the Balakhani Industrial Park, the Baku Solid Household Waste Incineration Plant and the Balakhani Solid Household Waste Sorting Plant were able to visually observe the process of waste neutralization and recycling. Informative booklets reflecting the activities of the Society were distributed to the participants of the tour and opinions were exchanged on the questions that interested them.
