On March 29, 2024, Th next educational meeding was held for the students of the school No. 2 named after I.Zeynalov within the framework of “Year of Solidarity for a Green World” under the organization of Mingachevir State University (MSU) Sustainable Development and Regional Innovations Research Center and Mingachevir City Education Department. A group of MSU academic-administrative staff members, teachers and students of the school participated in the meeting.

Ayten Musayeva who is a specialist of Sustainable Development and Regional Innovations Research Center of MSU, spoke about the importance of declaring 2024 as the “Year of Solidarity for the Green World”. She gave information about the call of our country to the world on issues such as protection of nature and maintenance of ecological balance, the work done this year in Mingachevir and MSU.

After the opening speeches, the reports of the staff of MSU were heard.

Aytaj Javadova, who is an employee of MSU, made reports on “methods of combating climate change” and Natavan Valiyeva on “Main environmental problems of hydrosphere and lithosphere”.

The reports were met with interest by the participants and questions were answered. It should be emphasized that various events are held in Mingachevir within the framework of  “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”.
