On April 23, 2024, the 5th International Scientific-Practical Online Conference “Imperatives of economic growth in the context of the implementation of the Global Sustainable Development Goals” was held at the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design within the framework of the Economic Week.
The conference was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, Financial Management Academy, Mingachevir State University, Business University of Poland, International Academy of Applied Sciences (Lomza, Poland), Georgian National University SEU (Georgia), Foggia University (Italy), RISEBA University of Applied Sciences (Latvia), Institute of Technology and Estonian University of Applied Sciences
It should be noted that one of the conference platforms was dedicated to the implementation of the ERASMUS-EDU-2021-virus-EXCH “international network of Virtual youth business nodes” VEHUB4YOU grant project, implemented in partnership with leading European universities of the Kiev National University of Technology and design..
The conference was moderated by VEHUB4YOU project manager, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Business Design, Doctor of economics, professor Oleksandra Olshanska of Kyiv National University of Technology and design.
Opening the conference with an introductory speech, Oleksandra Volodymyrivna conveyed to the participants and guests the warm greetings of the rector of the Kiev National University of technologies and Design, Doctor of economics, professor, academician of the National Academy of Sciences Ivan Gryshchenko and wishes for fruitful work, interesting discussions and creative inspiration. In her speech, she spoke about how the University operates under martial law, what educational and scientific achievements the team has achieved in recent years, despite extremely difficult conditions. In her next report, Oleksandra Olshanska presented the implementation status and Main results of the Erasmus-EDU-2021-virus-EXCH “international network of Virtual youth business nodes” VEHUB4YOU project.
Project managers and coordinators of European universities (Foggia University in Italy and RISEBA University of Applied Sciences in Latvia), as well as MSU, which are partners of VEHUB4YOU project, gave information about the work done in universities based on the project work plan. Samira Ahmadova, coordinator of VEHUB4YOU project of Mingachevir State University, made an interesting and meaningful presentation and informed about the results of the project implemented in Azerbaijan and the creation of the international network of VEHUB4YOU Virtual youth business nodes consisting of more than 20 educational institutions.
In total, more than 265 participants – academic staff, doctoral students, masters and students from Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Italy, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Georgia and the Czech Republic – have registered to participate in the conference.
