The third session of the “Environmental Impact Assessment” module training organized within the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World” was held at Mingachevir State University (MSU). A group of teachers of the Department of Physics and Ecology of MSU, students and masters of the Faculty of Engineering participated in the training.

Javid Abbasov, employee of the Chemical Laboratory of Mingachevir Regional testing and Diagnostics Center of” Azerbaijan scientific-research and Design Energy Institute “LLC, made a speech at the training on” preparation of the discharge limit of harmful substances discharged into water bodies by wastewater, waste limit that can be released into the atmosphere for enterprises”.

In his speech, Javid Abbasov gave information about the harmful effects of discharging waste water into water bodies on the environment and the limit of waste substances released into the atmosphere. The main goal of the training is to educate the participants about preventive measures in the field of environmental protection and proper waste management.

The training was met with interest by the participants.

It should be noted that within the framework of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”, various environmental events are held at the university.
