Within the framework of the “Year of Solidarity for the Green world”, a literary and artistic event called ”Sazli, sozlu  kelaghayi days” was held on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the inclusion of the Azerbaijani kelaghayi in the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO under the organization of humanities courses of Mingachevir State University (MSU) and “Mirvari Dilbazi poetry Majlis” Public Union.

A group of employees of the Public Union, members of the academic-administrative staff of MSU, students and masters took part in the event.

Starting with the words of the national leader Heydar Aliyev “in order to live successfully in life, it is necessary to be faithful to the national and moral values of our people and nation, it is necessary to combine these national and spiritual values with universal values and lead a modern lifestyle”, head of the Department of humanitarian disciplines of MSU, associate professor Esmira Jafarova gave information about the place of kelaghayi in the national and spiritual values of Azerbaijan, its history, production traditions, types of patterns.

After the opening speech, a video about kelaghayi was watched.

Then, in accordance with the program of the event, Gullu Eldar Tomarli, chairman of the public union “Mirvarid Dilbazi poetry Assembly”, “Anam-Kelagayi, Kelagay-anam…”, Gunay Rzayeva, director of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve “Basgal” kelagayi art“, Gunel Yunusova, one of the teachers of MSU” our National-material wealth: Kelagayi” and Saadat Agakishiyeva made a report on ‘The richness and philosophy of Kalagayi art in scientific and artistic works’

The reports were met with interest by the participants.

Later, poems in the National-Spiritual spirit were performed by students of MSU, music was sung and dances were demonstrated.

Chairman of” Mirvari Dilbazi poetry Assembly ” Public Union G.E.Tomarli presented his books to the library fund of MSU.
