An educational meeting was held with students within the framework of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World” under the joint organization of Mingachevir State University (MSU) Sustainable Development and Regional Innovations Research Center  and Central Aran Regional Education Department

A group of MSU academic-administrative staff members, teachers and students of the school participated in the meeting held at secondary school No. 1 tamed after N.Narimanov in Mingachevir.

Asim Mammadov, who is a head of Sustainable Development and Regional Innovations Research Center of MSU, Tarana Yusibova, who is head of Department of Physics and Ecology, and director of the school, Aliyar Yusifov, spoke about the importance of declaring 2024 as “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”.

They gave information about the call of our country to the world on issues such as protection of nature and maintenance of ecological balance, the work done in Mingachevir  and MSU during this year. After the opening speeches, reports of MSU employees were heard. Shabnam Islamova made reports on “Green energy” and Gulgun Israfilova made reports on “Land as a multifunctional natural resource”. The reports were received with interest by the participants, and questions were answered.
