The next training of the “Environmental Impact Assessment” module was held at MSU

On April 2024, 26, the second of the modular trainings “environmental impact assessment” was held within the framework of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World” organized by the Department of Physics and ecology of Mingachevir State University (MSU). The purpose of the next training held on” ecological safety ” is to educate young people about the efficient use of natural resources without harming the environment.

Students and masters of the Faculty of Engineering of MSU participated in the training.

Delivering the opening speech, Aytac Javadova, a teacher of the Department of Physics and Ecology of MSU,  informed the students about the modular training program.

Then, Ulkar Pashayeva,who is a consultant of the regulation  of environmental use and environmental monitoring sector of the Mingachevir Regional Department of Ecology and Natural Resources No. 8, made a presentation. During the presentation, she talked about the measures taken to prevent emissions into the atmosphere, increase measures against water and soil pollution, protect Biological Diversity and sustainable use of Natural Resources. She also talked about environmental responsibility, measuring the impact of society on the environment, and awareness-raising work implemented in the direction of nature protection.

The presentation was met with interest by the participants. It should be noted that various events are held at MSU within the framework of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”.
