After the opening conference of the “Green Information Technology Week”, which will be held on May 13, 2024 within the framework of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green world”at Mingachevir State University (MSU) on may 13-18, the event continued with panel discussions.
Elvin Balajanov, director of the Association of Azerbaijan Cyber Security Organizations, gave the first report on the topic of “Prospects for the development of cyber security in Azerbaijan” in the first panel titled “Green cyber security concept: environmental protection in the digital age” moderated by Almaz Aliyeva, dean of the Faculty of Engineering of MSU. Later, the reports presented by the teachers of MSU were heard. Thus, Valida Nuriyeva and Shabnam Nasirova on the topic “Global challenges and cooperation in the field of green cyber security: international research experience and practical examples”, Maryam Asadova and Narmin Ahmadova on the topic “Modern trend technologies: problems and prospects”, “The role of cyber security in the protection of critical infrastructure: energy supply networks, water supply and transport systems” Elvin Muradzade made interesting presentations.
At the end of the first day of the “Green IT week”, the second panel entitled “Review of the concept of sustainable development: Young research perspective” was held under the moderatorship of Aida Mustafayeva, head of the Department of Information Technologies of MSU.
