The XVII scientific-practical conference dedicated to the “Year of Solidarity for  Green World” by the Student Scientific Society  of Mingachevir State University (MSU) was held. A group of MSU academic staff, students and masters participated in the conference held in the assembly hall of the university.

First, the dear memory of National leader Heydar Aliyev and our heroic martyrs who died for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute’s silence and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.

Gunash Shafaqatov, the chairman of MSU Student Scientific Society, who opened the event with his opening speech, informed about the essence of the announcement of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World” in our country, the call from Azerbaijan to the world. Appreciating the students’ interest in scientific activity, G. Shafaqatov wished success to the work of the conference.

After the opening speech, reports were heard according to the program.

Kanan Mustafayev, one of the students of MSU, “Characteristics of socio-economic development in Azerbaijan, Aisha Tahirova, the road to “Green university” starts from COP29″, Shahana Shakirgizi, “Digitalization as a provider of a green world”, Namig Gadimli and Agil Mustafayev “GREEN” Economic potential of liberated territories (“Green” economic potential of territories freed from occupation)”, Shamsiyya Mustafayeva “Miracle of nature”, Ruslan Alizadeh “The role of vehicles in atmospheric pollution”, Rajab Tanriverdiyev “Waste management and recycling in entrepreneurial activity”, Nahid Mahmudlu “Analytic application of geometry methods to find the optimal solution of some economic issues” and Arzu Hasanova gave reports on “Experiences of using solar energy of the world countries”.

In the end, Vugar Mustafayev, head of the Department of Science and Innovations of MSU, gave a speech. In his speech, he noted that increasing the interest of students in scientific activity and conducting research at the university is always in focus, and Student Scientific Society conferences play an important role in this direction.

It should be noted that within the framework of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”, various  events are held at MSU.
