In 2024, on March 5, a seminar on “green transport” was held at Mingachevir State University (MSU) within the framework of the “year of solidarity for the green world”. A group of employees, students  of MSU participated in the seminar which was organized by the career and Development Center of the University.

Habil Ismayilzade, a teacher of the Mechanics Department of MSU, made a presentation. During the presentation, information was provided on the concept of green transport, its types, points that drivers and pedestrians should pay attention to when they are road users, and the impact of vehicles on the environment.

Then, police captain of Mingachevir City Police Department Azer Hasanov informed the participants about the organization of traffic, the importance of compliance with the rules both in terms of protection of rights and safety of life, and the activities of the traffic police. Speaking about the importance of educating young people, A.Hasanov noted that the event was commendable.

The Seminar was met with interest by the participants and the questions addressed were answered.

It should be noted that within the framework of the “Year of Solidarity for a  Green world” events of various formats are held at MSU.
