On May 17, 2024, Mingachevir State University (MDU) hosted a scientific seminar titled “Natural Sciences: From Laboratory to Life” as part of the “Green World Solidarity Year” initiative. The event was organized by the Department of Physics and Ecology and was attended by the university’s faculty, students, and graduate students.

After the head of the Department of Physics and Ecology, Təranə Yusibova, shared her thoughts on the importance and relevance of the seminar, the students from the department presented their reports.

MDU’s Engineering Faculty students Shəmsiyyə Mustafayeva spoke on “Supermassive Black Holes,” Əsginaz Həsənova presented on “Events Determining Molecular Mobility,” Hürü Əşrəfli discussed “Neutron Stars and Pulsars,” and Aytac Bəkirli delivered a talk on “Non-Newtonian Fluids.” The students showcased interesting slides and experiments during their presentations.

The seminar continued with discussions, and various activities are being held at MDU as part of the “Green World Solidarity Year.”
